Dear Friends and Family, It has been quite a whirlwind this month due to the unexpected change in surgery but it has also consisted of much answered prayer. In a previous post I had asked for prayer that I would be well enough to attend our church elder retreat with Laura, and we were indeed able to do because of the change of date for the surgery. I could spend quite some time sharing the story of seeing God’s providence in the answered prayer, but please know it was a significant blessing for both of us to be able to be on the elder retreat. Thank you for your continued prayer. The Lord has clearly heard and answered with generosity in many ways already.
Praying for you, your family, your doctor and all the medical professionals who will be caring for you. May God wrap his arms around you and allow you to feel his peace and comfort
Aside from being concerned for a couple of the most beautiful ppl I've ever known in my life....I just feel the need to recognize your guys clear/sincere feeling to need to put EVERYONE ELSE'S MINDS AT EASE through this, when really YOU are the ones going through it...so I guess I'll just leave it at this, no matter how strong and graceful u both may be, KNOW that u have a back up person that would come out the wood works if/when ever needed!! One message/whatever is ALL it would take...Laura drew u know im serious...my heart, soul, prayers, and love are with u guys...I'm ONE CALL AWAY♡♡
